In the beginning there was MUSIC!!!!!……whatever one’s beliefs might be on how humanity came to be on this earth, MUSIC was no doubt on their minds right from the beginning. All music starts with a good beat, not just saying that because I am drummer….but before all this current day fine crafted high tech music gear, there was only sticks, rocks or shells, or even just clapping to get a beat going and reach down into that inner core in all of us that somehow music speaks to, soothes, regenerates, inspires and stirs up a whole range of emotions……and makes one All Fired Up!!!!!

I wanted to play the drums since as early as I can remember in life. After playing a few years realized I had other talents and abilities in life calling and leading the path. I wound up actually taking some free guitar lessons first, enjoyed that, progressed to a paid instructor, and once they learned of my interest to eventually play drums the response was, “Oh, don’t do that, drums are the hardest instrument to learn and play.” You can’t tell a kid that, AND of course the guitar went by the wayside for pairs of drum sticks!

Fast forward many years later, marching band, practice, symphonic band, practice, jazz band, practice, college DJ, practice, local bar band, practice, but the other talents and callings of life won out, at least temporarily. Even after graduation from college and entering the accounting/auditing area I dreamed to leverage my business skills and background to eventually help manage bands and artists with the most incredible talents and unique music that ALL should hear.

All Fired Up Promotions was added to my consulting business and I got my first chance to help manage bookings and business for an up and coming singer/writer/composer and band. Thank You for believing in me and being willing to go along on this musical journey. I will be forever grateful for the opportunity to manage a group of most talented and dedicated musicians! It took a long time for all the right factors to come together for this, but the energy and my passion for music are one part of the right ingredients!

My musical tastes have expanded over the years, and I have found listening to a variety of styles has given me greater appreciation, and excitement to hear them all! I could always listen 24/7 to my favorite hard rock acts, Rush or Dream Theater, but listening to different styles of music has led to discovery of not only many new music styles and music, but also many inspirational, motivating, and special people!
I am on a new exciting journey in life to help performing artists focus on their music by taking care of the booking and business details. For a musician, it’s all about getting on stage, feeling the vibe and energy before that first notes starts!

I love listening, playing, discussing….living and breathing music….and I am determined to help others reach that stage, their fans, and beyond!!
